Mauricio Palma
General Manager
Mauricio Palma has a Computer Sciences Civil Engineer degree from the Universidad de Chile, and a diploma on Information Technology Project Management. Mauricio founded Orand in 2005 —the first Private Computer Research Center in Chile. As Research and Innovations Project Manager, to date he has handled self-service, security technologies, text verification and recognition, as well as semantic web. As a complement, he was the TUXEDO and J2EE Solutions Architect for the Banco de Credito e Inversiones (BCI), and Head of Development and the Architect for system development of the Registry Office as well as the Internal Revenue Service (SII) in Chile.
Sebastián Correa
Mobile Marketing Manager
Sebastián Correa, Information Engineer, Federico Santa María Technical Universityof Valparaíso. Between 2003 and 2010 he worked as Head of Internet Maintenance and Development, and then as a Marketing Executive for the Mobile Area, both positions at BCI Bank. In early 2011, he joined Orand as a Business Manager, and became Mauricio Palma’s partner in Orand Mobile.
Paola Cornejo
Communications Director
Paola Cornejo has Journalism and Social Communications degree from the Catholic University, and has communication strategies and consulting experience. She began her career as an Account Executive in Strategic Communication and has worked as a Communications Officer, a shift journalist in government agencies, and as a journalist for specialized magazines. In June 2011, she joined Orand to implement Orand’s new communications plan. She is currently our Communications Director.
